Here's how to get the most out of your tea lights (and the planet).
Beeswax tea lights must be burned in the holders they come in or a similar fitted container. Never burn one loose on a surface.
Keep the wick trimmed to about ¼" — it reduces soot and gives you a cleaner, more even flame every time.
Keep tea lights a few inches apart and away from drafts, so each one burns straight down instead of tunneling to one side.
When about ½" of wax remains, your tea light has given you everything it has. Let it cool completely before removing it.
The clear cups are reusable. Pop out the spent wax, wash the cup, and refill it or repurpose it for tiny treasures.
